Edmonds & Slatter Optometrist Rosemary Lowdon is preparing to scale new heights…..and return swiftly back down to earth again. On Saturday the 2nd of May she will be abseiling 90 ft. down St Mary’s Church Tower in Lutterworth.
The event is in aid of the Lutterworth Lord Mayors appeal and any sponsorship money raised will be split between “Days of Smiles”, which organises VIP days out for whole families whose members have substantial health problems, The Lutterworth & Villages Food Bank and St Mary’s Church.
Mrs Lowdon has been an Optometrist with Edmonds & Slatter since 2006 and works between their practices in Blaby, Lutterworth and Glenfield, with Lutterworth being her local practice. When she is not testing eyes, Rosemary is the Secretary for The Lutterworth & Villages Food Bank, which is hoping to expand to cover Countesthorpe in the near future, and is a Church Warden of St Marys Church. It seems amazing she has found the time in her packed schedule to take part in the fundraising event!
If you would like to sponsor Rosemary, please take your donation to any Edmonds & Slatter Opticians where a member of staff will be more than happy assist you. You are also able to sponsor her online at https://my.give.net/LutterworthAbseil. If you would like to watch and support Rosemary, her abseil is scheduled to start at 10:15am on Saturday the 2nd of May.
