As Autumn approaches, seasonal changes begin all around us including Edmonds and Slatter Opticians. Recently there has been an addition of three new team members at their ever expanding Blaby practice.
Rebecca McGuigan is an Optical Assistant joining the busy Blaby practice, bringing with her indispensable knowledge that can only be gained by previous experience in the optical industry.
Lucy Struthers, who joined the team recently, is also skilled in the customer service industry. “We both settled in really easily” commented Lucy, “There is a great atmosphere in the practice and the staff as well as the patients have made us feel very welcome!”
Jess Slatter joins the team as a Chartered Accountant and full time Business Development Manager.
Partner Tim Cole commented “We have a reputation for staff members remaining with us for long periods of time and I believe it is down to the professional yet enjoyable environment created by all the staff in all our practices.”
The newest team members have already taken part in training to become Ocular Hygienists. The training focuses on eye conditions including Blepharitis and Dry Eye which can affect a patient’s vision and visual comfort. The Hygienists are now able to provide guidance to patients on good eye health and helping to keep these conditions at bay.
