This achievement underscores his commitment to enhancing his expertise in optometry and ensuring their patients receive the highest quality care.
The certification program equips optometrists with advanced skills in diagnosing and managing various retinal conditions. Vikesh’s dedication and exceptional performance throughout the course demonstrates his passion for eye health and patient well-being.
Over four months, Vikesh balanced his full-time optometrist role with evening study, including online lectures, case studies, exams, and completing a two-day workshop at Aston University.
With this new qualification, Vikesh is now even better equipped to provide comprehensive retinal assessments, manage diabetic retinopathy and ocular vascular diseases, as well as improved detection of posterior uveitis. His new expertise enhances Edmonds and Slatter Opticians services and improves their patient outcomes.
