Technology is constantly changing. Most people are now able to wear contact lenses as the range of prescriptions, lens fits and materials are forever increasing. Wearing contact lenses is much easier than you might think. Our experienced team will teach you everything you need to know, including how to insert and remove them alongside all cleaning and care aspects. Many modern lenses are now disposable for hygiene purposes but we also offer a lens recycling scheme to counterbalance this. As we are an independent opticians we have access to more types of contact lenses than any high street chains. Your next steps:
1. Sight Test: An up to date eye examination is required before we can start to fit contact lenses, please book in for your private or NHS test.

2. Complimentary Consultation: When booking your eye examination please ask for your complimentary contact lens consultation appointment at the same time. During this no-obligation consultation, the Optometrist will examine you and guide you to the contact lens option that best suits your vision and lifestyle.

3. Teach & Free trial: After confirming which lenses match your requirements, the next step is a "teaching" appointment to demonstrate and teach lens handling (insertion and removal) alongside other important clinical and hygiene requirements. In most cases, you will then be provided with sample lenses to wear away from the practice for specified durations, returning for your final check with the Optometrist on a future date.
